Organised by the University of the Faroe Islands in cooperation with The Malaurie Institute of Arctic Research Monaco-UVSQ, UVSQ/Université Paris-Saclay and the University of Iceland.
The conference took place on 14 - 16 June 2022 in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands (Denmark).
Two researchers from MIARC took part in the event: Joanna KODZIK presented a paper on the "Circulation of knowledge about the Faroe Islands among
German Protestants in the 17th and 18th centuries" and Jan BORM delivered a presentation on "The Call of the Faroes: Jean-Baptiste Charcot’s travels in the
«fantastic» archipelago (Voyages aux îles Féroë, 1934)".
