Eda Ayaydin has been granted a prestigious visiting fellowship through the Åsgard program, a joint initiative supported by the Research Council of Norway and the Department for Scientific Cooperation of the French Embassy in Norway.
She will be travelling to Norway as part of a collaborative scientific initiative between Norway and France. During her visit, Eda Ayaydin will have the privilege of conducting research and meeting researchers at the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law at the University of Oslo and the Norwegian Institute of Foreign Policy (NUPI). In May 2024, Eda Ayaydin will visit research institutes in Oslo to pursue her research on Norway-Russia relations, specifically exploring sovereignty issues within the context of Arctic geopolitics in the post-2022 period. As part of her visit, she will also deliver a presentation on her research.
The primary objectives of the Åsgard program are to foster scientific exchanges between France and Norway, promote research cooperation, and facilitate the expansion of international networks for both French and Norwegian researchers.
